i AM SM1

The Statement of intent:

A postcode is not a lottery if you love it. The SM letters should be elevated for the local community of the Sutton Postcode Area.

If LDN(London) can and Brixton can be proud why can’t we?

i AM SM1 is an empowerment brand for the SM Areas of the London Borough of Sutton.

It is a ethos for the area and brings together SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4, SM5, SM6, SM7 and not forgetting the CR0, CR2, CR3, CR4, CR5, CR8,KT4 and KT17.*

So when someone from Peckham asks you where you are from you just have to say with pride and a smile “I am SM1 (Someone)!“

There are 3 things that i AM SM1 would like to do:

  1. Empower the local community with a slogan of pride for the area
  2. Start conversations about ideas and be a listening ear to local people and by doing so help to create a stronger community
  3. Make and sell products with the slogan on to continue to show pride for the London Borough of Sutton and the Areas it contains*
*SM1 are Sutton, Rosehill, Parts of The Wrythe and Carshalton, Benhilton and Erskine Village, the eastern part of Sutton Common.
SM2 are Belmont, South Sutton, South Cheam, East Ewell
SM3 are The western part of Sutton Common, North Cheam, Stonecot Hill
SM4  are Morden, Morden Park, Lower Morden, St. Helier (West), Rosehill
SM5 are Carshalton, Carshalton Beeches, Carshalton on the Hill, The Wrythe, Rosehill, St. Helier (South), Little Woodcote
SM6 are Wallington, Beddington, Hackbridge, Roundshaw
SM7 are Banstead, Woodmansterne, Nork, Little Woodcote
